Five Giants Offering Magazine Subscriptions On IPad and Android Platform
Apple influences the magazine publishers to offer subscriptions to their publications on the iPad, catch-eye news for the iPad lovers. The fantastic five publishers are treading to offer magazine subscriptions on most famous Google's Android platform too.
This confluence of magazines includes Time Inc., Hearst, Conde Nast, Meredith and Early Preview. In order to emphasize the online magazine subscriptions, the company is planning to have a webOS app and is envisaging selling least of 40 magazines at the same time.
The readers initially can buy single issues or even subscribe to:
• Fortune and Time from Time Inc.
• New Yorker from Conde Nast
• Fitness and Parents from Meredith
• Esquire and Popular Mechanics from Hearst
Time, Sports Illustrated and Fortune have free magazine subscriptions on iPad but no announcement have been made for standalone iPad subscriptions till date.
Subscriptions will range from $1.99 to $5.99 a month and $2.99 to $4.99 per issue through Next Issue range.
