<p>Tech Data Corporation have launched their all-digital magazine, called Authority. The digital magazine is published by TDAgency which is a support agency for marketing, sales and public relations of Tech Data. Authority would feature details on Tech Data&#39;s products and service lines which are in line with market trends and emerging technologies, and company&#39;s solutions to address the issues of IT resellers. </p>
<p>The digital magazine boasts of real time interactive experience for its readers. The magazine features valuable inputs from industry experts through columns as well as video seminars. It includes informative vendor ads which allow instant ordering for buyers, integrated social networking features for sharing with friends, and applications for downloading a copy of magazine on phone handsets. The digital magazine can also be saved on PC/ Mac or any remote storage devices. This allows readers to access the magazine while working offline as well. </p>
<p> Authority is distributed to more than 30,000 channel partners once in every quarter. The first edition of the digital magazine focuses on the digital signage market, Ultrabooks and All-in-One (AIO) devices, AccessTD-Tech Data&#39;s new mobile application and ways to develop effective marketing strategies. </p>
<p>Tech Data aims to reach out to all their channel partners and vendor partners and provide them with key industry insights through this new Authority digital magazine.</p>

		<title>Tore My Dream Renovation Out of A Magazine</title>

<p>I&#39;ve always loved looking at architectural and interior design magazines, even if I haven&#39;t usually been in a position to replicate the things that appealed to me. I just enjoyed seeing the pictures. Well, finally having the budget to renovate my main floor, I decided to go with the popular open concept approach. Nonetheless, I still wanted to have a certain feel of separation and I thought I&#39;d do that by putting in a couple of columns between the living and dining room spaces. This seemed a good way to loosely demarcate space. I set about looking through my favorite magazines, thinking I&#39;d be taking ideas from a few different layouts. However, I found one that had the main elements I was looking for. It felt magical! I started with replicating the style and color of the floors. To make sure I knew all of my options, I first checked out <a target="_blank" href="http://carpetstories.empiretoday.com/">Empire Carpet</a> options and ultimately decided to go with large tile flooring with <a target="_blank" href="http://empirecarpettips.com/">Empire Today</a> that in fact was similar to my dream design from the magazine. Then a builder friend of mine said he&#39;d take care of the columns for me. The rest was done by painting the walls, recovering the fireplace, and reframing the windows. These last two elements were just an aesthetic overlay to give a more <a target="_blank" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Classical">classical</a> feel that went better with the columns. I got that from the magazine too. Feels great to finally have brought to life something I gazed at on a magazine page! </p>

		<title>Adweek&#8217;s Magazine Review</title>

<p>Adweek publishes a yearly &#34;Hot List&#34; magazine review, which ranks the top magazines each year. For 2010, Food Network Magazine, published by Hearst, took top honors. Their strategy of partnering with established personalities and platforms has been a recipe for success. While rival Conde Nast was shuttering <a target="_blank" href="http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/04/25/adweeks-2011-hot-list-the_n_853142.html">Gourmet</a>, Food Network Magazine was drawing in the readers with their focus on celebrity talent, unique recipes and a lighthearted approach to cooking. </p>
<p>In just two years, their circulation has soared to 1.3 million subscribers. Another winner for Hearst this year is their fashion magazine Marie Claire. This brand has exploited the intrigue surrounding the secretive nature of the fashion industry by throwing open its doors to TV cameras recently in the name of brand awareness, and it has really paid off. Ties to Project Runway and Running in Heels,combined with the star power of Adweek&#39;s Editor of the Year Joanna Coles and fashion director Nina Garcia, have helped to raise the magazine&#39;s profile significantly. </p>
